Moonlit

This poem was written when I was thinking about the decline of the Space Program. The idea of reaching the Moon, visiting it, is very inspiring. I feel that we have lost that inspiration, and also the more imaginative, romantic, mythological connection to its presence.

poem about the moon with a photo of the moon.

The  photograph of the moon was taken by my friend Stanley Anderson, who has allowed me to use it for this purpose.

About Sarah

Now residing in Las Vegas, I was born in Michigan and moved to Texas when 16. After getting my Masters degree in English, I moved to Hollywood, because of the high demand for Medievalists (NOT!). As a freelance writer and editor, I found Nevada offers better conditions for the wallet. I love writing all sorts of things, and occasionally also create some artwork.
